Let's take a closer look and show off some of the features.How this actually grips your bike, it's gonna have two points of contact with no frame contact at all, which is nice for bikes of this style with a carbon frame.At the front, it's gonna grip it by your fork mouth with this 9 mm skewer. This can be switched out and you can use this with through-axles as well, and then that would be locked in place. At the rear, we'll have this wheel strap which is adjustable the length of the bike rack to accommodate for bikes of different sizes.With everything installed as it is, we're not gonna have any issue of clearance between the rear hatch and our bike rack, as you can see here. At the rear of our bike rack, we do have the option of an integrate cable lock, but you do need to purchase the core 00:00:56 locks separately. more

Swagman Roof Bike Racks Review - 2014 Subaru XV Crosstrek- Video

Speaker 1: Today on our 2014 Subaru XV Crosstrek, we're going to be test fitting the Swagman Race Ready roof bike rack, part number S64705. We already have a bike installed on the rack, let's take a closer look and show off some of the features. How the bike is held into the place, we're not going to have any frame contact at all, so for bikes such as this one, where it's carbon frame, it'll grip it by your wheel instead, and protect everything else.It does come with a lock up at the front here, so once you have this pushed into place, you can lock it down and the bike will be secured to the rack. I would like to point out though, this does not have a lock to secure your bike rack to your roof rack. It does have wheel cradles on either side that can slide back and forth to accommodate bikes of different sizes.The wheel cradle here is adjustable back and forth as well, by loosening up the bolts on either side, and sliding it back and forth to accommodate wider wheel width. And while we do have a road bike on here, this will also fit mountain bikes, and fat bikes with an additional strap that you would have to replace.With everything installed as it is, we're not going to have an issue of clearance, between our rear hatch and the bike rack, as you can see here, there's plenty of space in between. more

We'll start off at our back tire, we're going to have our wheel cradle with a cam lever and strap. We'll just push on the top of the cam, pull our strap through to release it. And a great thing about our cradle is that it can move up and down the length of our bike rack, so that we can accommodate different bikes.As for the front, we're going to have a skewer mount; this is going to be a little different than most others. It does have the option to lock into place to prevent theft and tampering. more

Thule Roof Bike Racks Review - 2018 Kia Sorento TH535- Video

Speaker 1: Today, on our 2018 Kia Sorento, we're doing a test-fit of the Thule ThruRide Roof-Mounted Bike Rack, that part number is: TH535.Now, we already have our bike secured down. We first want to go over how we secure our bike into place. We'll start here at the back tire. We'll see our cam-buckle strap, this is going to hold our bike tire down into our wheel cradles. We'll push up on the cam, just on the top portion and we can pull our strap through. A great thing about that back cradle, that it's secured in, it is going to adjust up and down the length of our bike rack to accommodate different bikes.As for the front, this is actually a through axle mainly mounted bike, so we use the included skewer for our skewer-mounted bikes here. more

Thule Roof Bike Racks Review - 2018 Nissan Frontier- Video

Speaker 1: Today on our 2018 Nissan Frontier we're going to be test fitting the Thule Circuit XT Rooftop Bike Rack, part number TH526XT.We already have a bike installed on our rack, let's take a closer look and show off some of the features. How this bike attaches to the rack we're not going to have any frame contact at all. Instead, it's going to grip it by two points. We'll have this rear wheel strap, which is adjustable to length of the bike rack to accommodate for bikes of different sizes, and then up at the front we'll have this skewer mount, which grips your bike by its fork mounts up here. The skewer mount is lockable, and once you install a Thule lock cord to lock it into place and secure it to your bike rack, it actually secures not only the bike, but the bike rack itself to the roof rack. It just goes slightly past the cab of your truck, so it's not going to interfere with much of anything as far as anything you may store in the bed of your truck.Let's go ahead and take the bike off and set it aside. more

Thule Roof Bike Racks Review - 2017 Buick Envision- Video

Speaker 1: Today on our 2017 Buick Envision we're going to be test fitting the Thule Circuit XT Roof Top Bike Rack, part number TH526XT. We already have our bike installed on the rack, so let's take a closer look and show off some of the features. How the bike is attached to the rack we're not going to have any frame contact at all. Instead it's going to grip it by rear tire here with this strap and cradle, which is adjustable along the bike to accommodate bikes different sizes.Up towards the front here we'll have our skewer mount, which is going to grip your bike by the forks. This skewer mount is lockable by removing this plastic piece on the end here and replacing it with a Thule lock core. So not only will your bike be secure to the rack, the rack itself will be secured to the roof rack, as it can't be removed without completely removing the skewer as well.With everything installed as it is unfortunately we're not going to be able to open up our hatch all the way. more
